The Steelers have signed punter Brad Wing to a one-year contract extension, the team announced today. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Wing appeared in each of the team’s 16 regular season games in 2014, punting 61 times for 2,668 yards while landing 20 attempts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line. His 43.7 average ranked fifth among rookie punters in team history.

The 6-3, 205-pound LSU product joined the Steelers on January 3, 2014. He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles following the 2013 NFL Draft.
