Pittsburgh Power Wide Receivers Coach Damian Harrell has been selected as a member of the 2014 Arena Football League Hall of Fame Class.

Harrell played in the Arena Football League for 12 seasons from 1999 until 2011. He holds seven AFL records including being the League’s all-time leader in receiving yards and touchdowns.

Harrell began his AFL career in 1999 when he joined the New England SeaWolves after graduating from Florida State. His most productive seasons came with the Colorado Crush. In 2006, Harrell set AFL records with 60 receiving touchdowns and 366 points scored in a single-season.

Harrell earned First Team All-Arena in 2005 and 2006 and was named Offensive Player of the Year twice. He finished his historic career with 1,164 receptions, 15,134 yards and 358 touchdowns.

In 2011, Harrell began his coaching career with the Milwaukee Mustangs. He joined the Power in 2014 to coach the wide receivers helping Shaun Kauleinamoku and Prechae Rodriguez both eclipse the 1,000-yard mark leading the Power to a 15-3 record and their first playoff berth in franchise history.
